We have been taking Royal Media Services, Nation Media Group , Standardmedia, and Kenya Broadcasting Corporation journalists through three-day workshops that will equip them with the skills and knowledge to help them facilitate ideation, incubation, and acceleration of novel ideas from idea to a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). In the end, the journalists will have a clear understanding of the key principles and concepts of Human-Centered Design (HCD), and be able to apply the design thinking process to approach problem-solving and innovation in newsrooms. The workshops are part of our initiative that aims to equip journalists, media innovators, and media start-up founders with the necessary skills to innovate.
