The academy consists of three schools namely: The Booker Academy Infant, Primary and Secondary Schools. The school is administered by the Principal who is head of all the schools. The Deputy Principal heads the Secondary section, while the Primary section is headed by a Head Teacher. Other administrative offices include; Deputy Head teacher, Heads of Departments in Secondary, Panel heads for the P
rimary, teachers and the support staff. The board of governors is composed of Mumias Sugar Company senior management who form the policy making body of the Academy. The Principal is the Secretary to the B.O.G and reports to the company’s Head of Human Resources (HHR). The school also has a Parents Teachers Association (PTA) in which the parents’ and teachers are represented. The Academy is wholly owned by Mumias Sugar Company Limited and is registered as a private school. It operates under the 8-4-4 curriculum approved by the Ministry of Education. The Academy is a welfare facility for employees and is part of MSC’s CSR programs towards all Kenyans.
