Today, our kindergarten learners had an exciting swimming class filled with learning, exploration and plenty of joyful moments. 🏊‍♂️😊

Swimming is more than just a fun activity for our young learners. It helps develop coordination, balance, strength, confidence and water-safety awareness, while also encouraging them to overcome new challenges and enjoy an active lifestyle.

Our Grade 4 learners got hands-on with the project theme “Food Production Processes”!

Today’s kitchen adventure involved boiling eggs and yams then shallow-frying chapatis and sausages. From preparing the ingredients to cooking their delicious creations, our young chefs had a wonderful time learning practical skills while having fun! 😋👏

🌱🐄 Grade 10 Agriculture Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🌾

Today, our Grade 10 Agriculture learners had an exciting and informative visit to the Mtwapa Agricultural Research Centre, where learning came alive beyond the classroom! 📚🌱

The learners had the opportunity to explore different crops, learn how they are grown, maintained and cared for, and gain practical knowledge about modern agricultural practices. They also got a closer look at dairy farming, learning about the care, feeding and management of dairy animals.

It was a day filled with discovery, curiosity, hands-on learning and lots of exciting experiences. Our learners asked questions, observed, interacted and connected what they learn in class with real-life agricultural practices.

At Maryjoy School, we believe that the best learning doesn't always happen within four walls. We take learning beyond the classroom to prepare our learners with practical skills for the future.

⏰ Grade 3 | Learning Through Creativity!

Our Grade 3 learners had an exciting and creative learning experience as they explored the fascinating world of time and clocks! 🕐

To make the lesson more practical and engaging, our learners used handmade clocks made of simple materials which they made by themselves. Through this activity, they were able to identify the hour and minute hands, numbers on the clock face and practise telling time in a fun and memorable way.

The smiles and excitement on their faces show just how enjoyable learning can be when learners get the opportunity to create, explore and participate actively in the lesson.

At Maryjoy, we believe that hands-on activities help learners connect classroom knowledge with real-life experiences while building their creativity, confidence and problem-solving skills.

We began our Monday at the Primary Section with joyful hearts, bright smiles and a beautiful reminder of the importance of HUMILITY. 💙

During our assembly, our learners were reminded that humility means being respectful, listening to others, appreciating what we have, admitting when we are wrong and treating everyone with kindness regardless of who they are. 🤝

As we begin a new week, let us remember that true greatness is not about being better than others, but about being humble, helping others, learning from everyone and always choosing kindness. ✨

Grade 10 Biology Project in Action! 🔬🧪

Our Grade 10 learners brought Biology to life through an exciting Biology Project focused on food tests, microscopy and enzymes. From identifying nutrients in different foods to observing specimens under the microscope and exploring the fascinating work of enzymes, our learners had the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice.

Through these hands-on activities, they developed their observation, investigation, teamwork and scientific skills while discovering that Biology is much more exciting when you can see and experience it for yourself! 🌱🔍

Learning by doing, exploring through science and discovering something new every day! 💙
