A smooth transition from PP2 to Primary starts with a welcoming hand. Our Grade 1 learners hosted our Kindergarteners for a fun-filled games session, giving them an opportunity to play, interact and build confidence in their next step to Primary.

With teachers and coaches joining in, the session was all about teamwork, friendship and making the transition feel exciting and familiar.

Just one month to graduation, and you can already see the excitement on their faces!

For our PP2 learners, the journey has never been all about academics. We’re just as proud to see how much they have grown physically, confidently and socially during their time with us.

Today, they took on a few fun hurdles, working on their approach, balance and coordination and, of course, having plenty of fun along the way.

One month to go, and what a journey it has been!

Learning by doing.

Our Grade 1 and 2 learners were busy during their afternoon programme, sorting different foods and building practical skills through hands-on activities.

We also caught up with Grade 3 as they finished their sorting and learned how to properly prepare vegetables for a delicious sandwich.

From sorting to preparing, every activity is another opportunity to learn, create and grow.

We caught up with our Grade 7 learners in the ICT Lab as they began designing their very own personal e-portfolios.

These digital portfolios will grow alongside them, capturing key experiences, achievements, projects and milestones throughout their years in Junior School.

More than just a collection of work, the e-portfolios give our learners a space to reflect, showcase their growth and document the journey ahead.

A great blend of technology, creativity and purposeful learning.

Listening is an important part of learning.

We were delighted to welcome our friends from Mombasa Hearing Centre, who visited our school to conduct hearing screenings for our learners.

A special thank you to Terri (MHC) for taking the time to conduct the screenings and interact so warmly with our learners. We also sincerely appreciate all our parents who gave consent for their children to participate.

Hearing screenings are valuable in helping identify potential hearing difficulties early, ensuring learners receive the support they need to listen, communicate, learn and thrive with confidence.

Thank you, Mombasa Hearing Centre, for partnering with us in supporting the wellbeing and learning journey of our children.

Can You Read It?

For World Literacy Day, we’re putting our learners’ brains to work with a fun Reading Brain Challenge! With the first and last letters in place and the middle letters mixed up, learners used pattern recognition, context clues and prediction to decode the words.

Because reading is not just about the letters we see it’s about how our brains make sense of them!

Celebrating World Occupation Day!

As we mark World Occupation Day, we celebrate the importance of helping young learners understand the many roles and careers that shape our world.

Our PP2 learners recently brought their term’s theme to life by welcoming special guests from different industries, including a teacher, musician and photographer who shared their trades and experiences.

These real-world encounters give our learners the opportunity to see learning beyond the classroom, discover new interests and begin imagining the possibilities for their own futures.
