Alright, prepare to have your mind a little bit blown (like mine was)! So proud of my Kiswahili student, Maj! He just dropped some serious knowledge with his map project.

Turns out, that ocean right next to Africa? Yeah, it's almost never called the . It's always 'Indian Ocean.' Talk about a sneaky way to make a continent feel less connected!

But here's the cool part: He not only dug deep into this, but he also translated all his findings into Kiswahili! That's using language to make a real impact, folks.

Let’s talk ACTION — Common Swahili Verbs!

🍽️ Kula – to eat
🥤 Kunywa – to drink
🚶‍♀️ Kwenda – to go
❤️ Kupenda – to love/like
🛠️ Kufanya – to do/make
👀 Kuona – to see
🗣️ Kusema – to say/speak

💡 Quick Tip: Most Swahili verbs start with “ku-” when in their basic form.
👉 Think of it like saying "to eat" or "to go."
