JUST DIAL 1599

For many years, accessing government services in Mombasa has too often meant moving from office to office, making repeated calls without response, or not knowing where to turn in moments of need. Residents have asked for a simpler, more responsive way to reach their government and today, that change has arrived.

The County Government of Mombasa has now operationalized a centralized Customer Service Call Center, creating a single, reliable point of contact between wananchi and their County Government.

Through one dedicated number, 1599, residents can now report emergencies, seek health support, access business assistance, or request any county service without navigating complex bureaucracy. Every call is logged, tracked, and routed to the responsible department, ensuring follow-through and accountability. For the first time, the County has a real-time system to understand public needs as they arise and respond with speed and coordination.

This initiative reflects the Governor’s commitment to a people-centered administration; one that removes barriers, restores trust in public service, and makes government present in the daily lives of residents. It strengthens emergency response, improves service delivery, and gives wananchi a direct voice into county operations.

A government that listens is a government that works. The Mombasa County Call Center is now open and the people of Mombasa now have government at the other end of the line.
