Bridging training and industry.
In collaboration with the National Construction Authority (NCA), we hosted a sensitization workshop on the National Building Code 2024, emerging construction technologies, industry standards, and career opportunities in the construction sector.
The session also saw our trainees register with the NCA, opening doors to employment opportunities, free industry training, and professional accreditation. Registration is a key step towards becoming licensed contractors and construction workers, enabling them to practice legally and competitively within Kenya's construction industry.
At Kenya Coast National Polytechnic , we do not just train for qualifications; we prepare our trainees for professional practice, certification, and successful careers in industry.

Skills for work. Skills for life.
Pictured are our Catering and Accommodation Level 5 and 6 trainees undertaking practical lessons in mocktail preparation under the Bar Keeping Operations unit.
Having successfully completed modules in Housekeeping and Laundry Operations, they continue to build industry relevant competencies through the modular curriculum.
Under the TVET modularized system, trainees acquire practical skills in specific competencies, ensuring they are job ready at every stage of training. This means a trainee can be certified in Housekeeping Operations competencies and proceed to industry with skills that meet workplace demands.
We appreciate the leadership of PS Tvet Esther Muoria , for championing a skills based education system that is transforming lives and driving national development.
Education is the key. TVET is the master key. Kenya Coast National Polytechnic is where opportunity meets excellence.
