Strengthening Hospitality Training Through Global Standards! 🇩🇪🍷

Our hospitality trainers successfully completed a two day workshop on Professional Service Practice in the German Hospitality Context, equipping them with practical skills in wine service and general food and beverage service as practised in Germany. The trainers also received certificates upon completion.

The training was led by Alexander Tiefenbacher, a renowned hospitality expert from Germany, through the Network for Jobs and Integration Access (NJIA), a project sponsored by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through b*w International and sequa.

We sincerely appreciate Project Lead, Mr Dave Roy Yator, for this initiative that strengthens the capacity of our trainers and enhances the quality of hospitality training at KCNP. The event was presided over by Deputy Principal Technical Training , Ms Getrude Mutie and HOD Hospitality, Dr Lynett Angayu.

At KCNP, we are strengthening our trainers today to prepare our trainees for opportunities beyond borders tomorrow. 🌍✨

Empowering the Girl Child at KCNP! 💙🌸

Our Mental Health Awareness and Pad Drive was a powerful day of empowerment, with Hassan joining us to support the girl child. Beyond donating sanitary pads, she shared important messages on mental health, career development, staying focused and believing in oneself.

We appreciate Lulu Hassan and everyone who showed up and contributed to making the event a success. The conversations, motivation and guidance shared will continue to inspire our trainees beyond today.

Because empowering a girl goes beyond providing a pad. It is about giving her the confidence, knowledge and support to pursue her dreams. 💪🏽✨

Today, KCNP joined the UN World Tourism Week activities at Alliance Française de Mombasa , taking part in the Job Fair on French as a Language of Employability.

The event brought together job seekers, French speaking trainees, employers, HR professionals and industry experts, creating opportunities to network, explore careers and understand the growing value of French language skills in the tourism and hospitality industry.

We appreciate everyone who engaged with our trainees and shared valuable insights.

Engineering Skills in Action! ⚓🔧🔥

Our Marine Engineering trainees are putting their technical skills into practice by fabricating and welding a new gate for the swimming pool at our KCNP Kwale Campus.

The practical involves metal fabrication, dimensional measurement, cutting, fitting, alignment, tack welding and arc welding, giving trainees valuable hands on experience in structural fabrication and workshop practices.

At KCNP, we learn by doing, we build by skill, and we create solutions that serve our community. ⚓💪🏽

Food Safety in Practice! 🧪🧑🏽‍🍳

Today, our Food Technology Level 6 trainees took part in the sanitation of a food plant, gaining hands on experience in preparing an alcohol based food grade sanitiser and applying it to food contact surfaces and equipment.

At KCNP, we turn classroom knowledge into practical skills that prepare our trainees for the food industry. Learn it. Practise it. Master it. 👏🏽
