Our Grade 1 students were excited to host students from the Aga Khan Nursery for a buddy reading session. Sharing stories together made for a joyful morning as our young readers built confidence, friendship and a love of books.

Exchange students from Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad and Aga Khan Academy Maputo stepped back in time as they explored the rich heritage of Mombasa.

Beginning with a walk through the narrow streets of Old Town, students experienced the area’s distinctive architecture, vibrant culture and living history. They then visited Fort Jesus for a guided history walk, deepening their understanding of the coast’s layered past and its connections to global trade and migration.

Our young swimmers showed determination, teamwork and growing confidence in the water as they raced, relayed and supported one another from the sidelines. From first-time competitors to seasoned swimmers, every student gave their best and made the day one to remember.

At a recent Junior School parent workshop, families explored how everyday moments at home support children’s social emotional learning. Parents reflected on their own well-being, developed emotional awareness and considered how home environments can best support young learners.

The excursion deepened their understanding of coastal life, highlighting how livelihoods, culture and religious practices are closely connected to nature and the ocean.

Well-being Wednesday brought the campus together in shades of blue. Students twinned across the school and joined in well-being activities such as hopscotch and chalk colouring, adding moments of movement, creativity and connection to shared spaces.
