I wish to inform you that on Tuesday March 8th, there will be a COVID 19 vaccination exercise at our campus from 8 am .
Please inform others.

On Wednesday 24th of Feb 2022, we managed to hold a round discussion for comrades on GRIEF CARE & SHARE panelled by Coach Peter Odanga & Therapist Aysha Ali
Comrades were taken through grief assessment,diagnosis, coping and recovery.

THE KEY HIGHLIGHTS WERE:
✅Our lives are a series of never ending problems and that is okay and that is normal.
✅We need to first accept that we are at grief
✅ A healthy mind, healthy body, the more we neglect grief recovery, the higher the risk to our physical well being
✅Loss is not only death
✅Grief is not quantifiable nor comparable
✅ If you do not grieve, you are Living out of Reality.
✅You cant go over grief, you cant go under grief, you can only go through grief.
✅ 5 Stages of grief can happen all at once
✅When going through grief, practise (DEER): Drink, Eat, Exercise & Rest.
✅All of us, are either coming out, going through or about to go into grief.
✅ When supporting a grieving person, Show up & Shut up.
They dont remember anything you say, they only remember that we were there for them.
✅ Pray for Discernment.

Microsoft has sponsored a training on ICT that equips a learner with Digital Skills in different spheres targeting 80% youths and 20% of those over 35.

It's not limiting the youths and those above 35 can take part in the knowledge gaining exercise

The training will begin on February we have two phases one is virtual or you can do physical
The key thing is to register

You don't pay a single cent

You get to be connected in terms of opportunities in that line

You get a certificate at the end of your training a plus for your cv
