Kenya Relief Academy

For the past two years, our Head of Sports has poured so much care and dedication into KRA athletics, especially our boys’ soccer program. When we asked about featuring him, he immediately wanted the focus to stay on the students instead, which speaks wonders to the kind of mentor he is.

Under his leadership, KRA’s boys’ soccer team brought home back-to-back Championship titles in 2024 and 2025. He has also helped mentor students like BHOG’s Tyline, who represented KRA at the East Africa Championship.

More than the trophies, we’re grateful for the confidence, discipline, and encouragement he continues to pour into students every day. Thank you,Teacher Apollos, for all you do for KRA.

Meet our Headteacher, Mr. Solomon Nyaoge!

Since joining Kenya Relief Academy in 2013 and later stepping into the role of Headteacher, Solomon has helped guide the school’s continued growth and strong academic foundation. His leadership is felt not just in results, but in the way he supports both students and staff to keep learning, growing, and reaching their full potential.

At KRA, excellence is lived daily in classrooms, on the field, and in every student’s growth.

Excellence is our commitment.

And it shows.

In 2025, KRA delivered exceptional performance, with impressive Grade 9 national exam results that reflect a culture of consistency and high standards.

But beyond the results it’s moments like this, in the classroom, where that excellence is built every single day.

What a moment of pride this has been!

During the Suna West Sub-County Scouts Camp, our team rose to the occasion and stood out among 25 competing schools both public and private to take 1st place.

It was more than just a competition; it was a display of discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Now, with this victory?… the journey continues as they advance to the County level next term.
We couldn’t be prouder this is just the beginning. 🌟

The Kenya Relief Academy was at it in an amazing manner this time.Much appreciations to the learners, trainers,parents/guardians and KRO.ORG for the massive support. We have attained this milestone because God has always been on our side.

It was a great honor to represent Migori County at the lake region first aid competition held at Kisumu Museum last Friday under the umbrellaof Red Cross. Our JS team emerged best and should represent the lake region at the national level. VIVA TO THE TEAM.

In support of talents identification and nurturing, we received a donation of balls from a well-wisher.A big thank you for that gesture.
