It is will great sadness that we announce the death of Coughan Ochieng Ochieng, Challenger class of 2018, who died at Budapest,Hungary where he was partaking his undergraduate studies for a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. During his period in Kanga(2015-2018) Coughan was an active member of the drama club and the scouts movement, where he was the Treasurer from 2018 to 2020. In nature, Coughan was a very sociable and funny student, and was the undisputed ‘Chief Comedian’ within the school. His talent in comedy was recognized far and wide, having appeared in churchill show, and proceeding as far as the National drama festivals with his narrative. Coughan met his untimely death last week. The government of hungary has not yet confirmed the cause of his demise.

FORM ONE 2021 ORIENTATION.
After the completion of the admission process, the new members of the Kanga Family were oriented and familiarized with the school norms and regularities. They were also informed of the various school structures and departments to go to whenever they need particular assistance.

KANGA HIGH SCHOOL PARTICIPATES IN THE 2021 INTERSWITCH SPARK COMPETITION.

In line with Kanga high school's policy of embracing STEM(science technology engineering and mathematics) the schools science department has an array of activities for students interested in the line of STEM. Among them is the annual INTERSWITCH SPARK COMPETITION where in 2019 Kanga High School had two students representing the whole nation in Lagos, Nigeria in the competition's semi finals.
Here are this year's team participating in the qualifying exams.

Dr Kennedy Owino, a Kanga high school alumni who was a Champion(Champion class 2001).He promised any student who appears in the 2021 KCSE top ten list a whooping Ksh 100,000. He also promised Ksh50,000 to any student who appears at top ten in the oncoming midterm examinations.

A very special thank you for the motivation Daktari, we are now assured of an improvement in the school mean in KCSE 2021!!!

Kanga High school teachers recieved their branded pens and diaries. Planning for classes and other student related activities has now been simplified.
