I told you I'm surrounded by incredible Boss Babes!

Allow me to introduce my friend, Carol Muthemba. She is the owner of Travena Restaurants Meru in Meru town and also serves as an SME Business trainer!

Today, she shared a picture on her wall, and I couldn't help but think about what an exceptional boss she must be!

I've had the privilege of being part of her journey for quite some time now. I watched her start Travena Restaurant from scratch in downtown near Marikiti when her youngest twins were still very little. Now, she successfully operates two restaurants in the heart of Meru town while retaining a dedicated staff. I often wonder what her secret is, especially considering the high employee turnover rates in the hospitality industry.

I know she has an inspiring story that would resonate with many of us. I hope to persuade her to share it with you one day at the She Boss Power Nights soon😅! Evelyn Karwitha, whom I approached to be our first speaker; she enthusiastically agreed and shared valuable insights that I can't wait for you all to hear.

Single Mums do you know that your baby daddy's blood still runs through your child's veins? Do you know that they still have his DNA? And honey, aint nothing you can do about it. Dead beat or not this you can not change.

My dad has never been in the picture. He walked out when I was less than 5, but I so his daughter. There are things about me that I relate to his nature and one of them is my love for craft.

I love that mama Margaret Macharia allowed us to know him and our family from his side. So now when I discover some things about myself I am able to connect and decide whether I want to build on them or work on changing them, unto a better me!
