We are pleased to have received a donation of the Kenya YearBook 2025 from the Kenya YearBook Editorial Board, a parastatal under the Ministry of ICT and the Digital Economy.

The donation is part of the Board’s initiative to distribute the Kenya YearBook to public institutions, supporting access to information and the dissemination of government milestones, achievements and programmes across the public sector.

We appreciate Jane Mareka, Principal Planning and Strategy Officer at the Kenya YearBook Editorial Board, for the generous donation and commitment to documenting and sharing Kenya’s story of progress.

Today, thousands of new trainees gathered at Meru National Polytechnic for a comprehensive orientation, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their academic and professional journey.

‎The session brought together the institution’s leadership and Heads of Departments, including Registrar Administration, Douglas Kimathi and Registrar Academics, Elizabeth Mule, who represented the Chief Principal, Dr. Mutembei Kigige, PhD, OGW, in warmly welcoming and addressing our new trainees.
‎
‎The orientation provided our new trainees with essential information on academic programmes, institutional guidelines, student support services and the opportunities available at MNP, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to begin their training journey successfully.

Meru National Polytechnic is committed to supporting our trainees to access available government funding opportunities. Applications for the 2026/2027 Higher Education Financing (HEF) TVET Scholarship and Loan are ongoing.

To make the process easier, MNP has established a dedicated Help Desk at Jitume Hub to assist eligible trainees with the online application process.
