Great teams aren't built in a day.

For a while now, Dronector Academy has been on a journey with Komini, learning how to think, decide, and carry the business forward together, not just do the work.

Last week, the Komini team visited us.

We don't just train drone pilots. We invest in the people behind the brand, and this is what that looks like.

To our team, including Karl Unathi and Patricia Wanjiru: keep rowing. 👏🏾

Thank you, Komini.

Another one in the books! 👏🏾

Our Chief Ground Instructor, Peter Irungu, represented Dronector Academy on the “Training, Workforce and the Future of Autonomy” panel at Aviation Africa 2026.

The discussion brought together industry perspectives on standards, capacity building and workforce development key areas in shaping a stronger and more sustainable drone sector across Africa.

Thank you to the African Drone Forum for the invitation and to everyone who connected with us at Sarit Expo Centre, Nairobi.

For Benjamin Mugo, drone training is more than learning how to fly. It’s about adding a new perspective to his videography and storytelling.

With the skills gained at Dronector Academy, he’s ready to bring aerial perspectives into the stories he creates and take his creative work further.

Last month, we captured the Kenya School of Flying Airshow from a different angle.

From above the runway to the action in the sky, our aerial team captured the event from a perspective you don’t see every day.

A day of aviation, energy and unforgettable moments seen from above.

The AeroScout can climb up to 1,000 ft but should you fly that high?

In Kenya, KCAA regulations generally limit drone/RC flights to 400 ft AGL without the required special authorization.

Before you take off, know the law, know your limits, and fly responsibly.

Did you know about the 400 ft limit?
