Maasive thank you to all the youths who turned up for Mara Youth Day organised by Maasai Mara Wildlife Conservancies Association on Monday. A big thank you to all the prospective students, parents and guardians who visited our tent and received as much information about our vocational programs as possible. After an intensive 18 months of learning and internship the Karen Blixen Hospitality School students sat their final Diploma in Culinary Arts and Food Production last week. The results are expected to be out in early January and just like the preceding teams we are expecting great results from the 6th intake.
Meanwhile applications are ongoing for the next intake in June 2020 and if you are within the Mara we will be attending the Maasai Mara Wildlife Conservancies Association Mara Youth Day on 25th of November please feel free to visit our booth and do not hesitate to ask questions and lots of them.

HURRAY! Today our computer class received the first batch of the 16 new - and most needed - computers. 45 kind guests at Karen Blixen Camp have in the last months donated for this cause. THANK YOU!!!!

Computer skills are very important, also on the savannah and the computer class is very popular among young Maasais in the Mara. These new computers mean a huge upgrade of the educational activities of our Trust and are a very nice example of how the local community can benefit from tourism and our common effort to protect the wildlife in the Mara.

2: Create a 3 course menu with each student playing specific roles in the kitchen and food preparation.
