Day 5 & 6 – Travel & Return Highlights 🇺🇬🇰🇪

The final stretch of the trip was defined by travel, transition, and a smooth return home.

Students checked out and embarked on a road trip from Jinja to Kisumu, passing through the Busia Border. The journey provided a reflective close to their time in Uganda, with students taking in the changing landscapes across the region.

From Kisumu, the group boarded a flight to Nairobi, followed by a 2-hour shopping stop at Imaara Mall, giving students time to unwind and pick up a few items before the final leg of the journey.

The group then boarded the SGR train from Nairobi to Mombasa, arriving safely today, the morning of Day 6. Upon arrival, they proceeded with a road transfer back to Malindi.

All students and teachers have arrived safely.

Gratitude to God for His protection throughout the journey as we look ahead to next year’s annual trip.

Our students will embark on an international educational trip to Jinja, Uganda, designed to integrate Geography, History, Environmental Studies, Transport Systems, and Experiential Learning.

✨ Learning Highlights:
- Multi-modal transport experience: Road, SGR train & flights
- Visit to the Source of the Nile
- Mabira Forest, Jinja Railway Museum, Bujagali/Bosowoko Falls
- Cultural exposure, nature studies & team-building activities

🏨 Accommodation: 2 nights in Jinja
💰 Cost per student: Ksh. 45,000
