Sweet Love Gone Sour
Omoit met Amoit at sunrise hour,
When love was tender, fresh as a flower.
Their laughter danced in golden air,
Two hopeful hearts without a care.

They spoke of dreams beneath moonlight,
Their future glowing warm and bright.
Hands entwined, they walked as one,
Certain their forever had just begun.

But sweetness left untended grows thin,
And silent cracks appear within.
Busy days and wounded pride
Built quiet walls they tried to hide.

Soft words hardened, sharp and cold,
Affection slipped from gentle hold.
Where warmth once lived in steady flame,
Now lingered silence, thick with blame.

Love did not shatter in a loud despair—
It faded softly, unaware.
Like fruit once ripe upon the vine,
Left too long past its perfect time.

And so they learned, though tears were few,
That love must be made daily new.
For even honey, pure and sweet,
Turns bitter when denied its heat.

The biggest miscalculation by many upcoming politicians is thinking that noise equals influence.

They invest in slogans, online battles, and empty promises—bu they forget to invest in people, integrity, and service.

Leadership is not built on popularity alone. It is built on trust, consistency, and real solutions.

Win hearts before chasing seats. Power follows purpose.

A real decision is not made in words or wishes—it is proven by action.

The moment you choose differently, move differently, and act differently, your decision becomes real. If nothing changes, then nothing was truly decided.

Let your actions speak for your choices.

🇨🇲Samuel Eto’o: "🇸🇳Sadio Mané not only contributed to winning the tournament but also to saving the image of the national team, because leaving the pitch would have had very serious consequences for Senegal.

Sadio is one of the greatest heroes of our continent, and I send him special respect for his morals and leadership qualities. I am honoured to consider him a friend, and his role in leading his teammates to victory was exceptional.

I hope he achieves another African Footballer Of The Year because what he did, especially his behaviour yesterday, is the act of a great leader."🤗

Celebrating Martin Luther King Jr.: A Legacy That Still Speaks
Martin Luther King Jr. stands as one of history’s most powerful voices for justice, equality, and human dignity. In a time when hatred and segregation threatened to divide a nation, he chose the higher road of love, peace, and non-violence. His courage proved that lasting change is not born from revenge, but from moral conviction.
Dr. King believed that every person is created equal and deserves respect, regardless of race, background, or status. He famously reminded the world, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” Through his speeches, marches, and sacrifices, he called humanity to confront wrongs with truth and compassion.
Today, we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. not only for what he said, but for how he lived. His life challenges us to speak up for the voiceless, stand firm for justice, and pursue peace even when it is costly. His dream lives on each time we choose unity over division, love over hate, and justice over silence.

High KCSE performers are often celebrated as “made for life,” but in reality, many stumble after the results are released. These missteps do not mean failure—only lessons that, if unchecked, can slow long-term success.

1. Overconfidence and Complacency.
Excellent KCSE results can create a false sense of arrival. Some top students relax too early, assuming doors will open automatically. In higher education and life, discipline matters more than past grades.

2. Poor Career Choices.
Many high performers choose courses based on prestige, pressure from parents, or trends rather than passion and aptitude. This leads to frustration, course switching, or dropping out despite academic brilliance.

3. Neglecting Life Skills.
KCSE rewards memorisation and exam technique. Life demands communication, emotional intelligence, financial literacy, adaptability, and teamwork—skills some top students fail to develop early.

4. Fear of Failure.
Ironically, high achievers can become risk-averse. Used to excelling, they avoid challenges where failure is possible, missing opportunities in entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership.

5. Identity Tied to Grades.
When self-worth is built solely on being “the bright one,” any academic setback in university or work can cause anxiety, depression, or loss of direction.

6. Dependence on Structured Systems.
KCSE provides a highly structured environment. Some top students struggle in university or the workplace where self-initiative, creativity, and independent decision-making are required.

7. Ignoring Networking and Mentorship.
While focusing on books, some high performers overlook relationships, mentors, and networks—yet these often open more doors than grades alone.

8. Delayed Exposure to the Real World.
Shielded by academics, some top students enter the job market late, lacking practical experience, internships, or entrepreneurial exposure.

KCSE excellence is a strong foundation, not a final destination.

A KCSE result is a chapter, not the whole book. Five years from now, people will not ask your grade—they will ask:

What do you do?
What have you built?
Who have you become?

Final Truth:

Some people pass exams but fail life. Others fail exams and win life. Your grade does not decide your future—your decisions do.

If you rise with discipline, faith, and focus, the lowest KCSE grade can become the strongest foundation for ultimate life success.
