About this weekend, all roads led to Turkana and KIE main campus was the destination. Thank you our esteemed guests, friends, neighbour, students ,parents and the bigger education and enhancement enthusiasts. You made our day a success . Our Bishop Benson For the word and commiting us to the Lord . Kadhi mkuu kwa kuungana nasi na kututia nguvu kwamba palipo Bwana yote yawezekana. Arabic language is one of the courses we offer at KIE and with the recent signed MOU between the Arabic countries and Kenya opportunities are waiting for us!!

Special mention to CAS Energy and Petroleum. The man of the people Hon. Nakara, John Lodepe and his entire team. For not only unveiling the plaque but also humbly standing in the gap with a detailed explanation . Our Esteemed Governor H.E Hon Jeremiah Ekamais Lomorukai Napotikan for your excellent and selfless service and leadership. The great team from the office of the governor led by our Chief officer Mr. Paul Ekeno Lodunga. The teamwork exemplified is one to recon . Hats off

I salute these great scientists, however let’s take try and understand how/ what might have happened

Catastrophic Implosion of a submersible explained:

When a submarine hull collapses, it moves inward at about 1,500 miles per hour - that’s 2,200 feet per second.

The time required for complete collapse is 20 / 2,200 seconds = about 1 millisecond.

A human brain responds instinctually to stimulus at about 25 milliseconds. Human rational response (sense→reason→act) is at best 150 milliseconds.

The air inside a sub has a fairly high concentration of hydrocarbon vapors.

When the hull collapses it behaves like a very large piston on a very large Diesel engine.

The air auto-ignites and an explosion follows the initial rapid implosion. Large blobs of fat (that would be humans) incinerate and are turned to ash and dust quicker than you can blink your eye.
