The Salvation Army - Likoni School for the Blind The Salvation Army - Likoni School for the Blind is situated on the shores of the Indian Ocean on a five-acre plot facing the very busy port of Mombassa.

A blind school for Kenya youth from pre- school to grade 7. The Salvation Army, who are already pioneers of education for the visually impaired in Kenya, have been running such institutions in Thika and Kisumu. Visually impaired children come from all parts of the country to have this opportunity for education at Likoni, Mombasa.

The Keys was handed over on the 24th of February 2012. Celebrations took place and the Blind Children were jumping from JOY because of their new homes!
This will be the last time that i will post comments here as i have created this page for the school to update it with there news.. Thank you to everyone at the Lekoni School for the Blind. It was a great pleasure to work with you over the past 2 months! The children will always stay close to my heart and i will miss them! Regards Leon
