Glad to announce that Kimaran Elite will be part of the five schools across the country that will receive the beta version of SmartSchool. SmartSchool is a comprehensive school management system that integrates student information, school finance and library into one module. The system also boasts of a state of the art student tracking module that monitors student performance both academically and in the co-curricular aspects for both the school management and the parents and guardian. The aim of developing the system is to provide a centralized access point of the various student data for the purpose of performance analysis.
A key feature that the system boasts is the ability to store information in a secure cloud meaning remote access to the module in supported.This not only makes it easier to integrate the system in a school,it also reduces the cost of operation as various schools could share the cloud platform.
The system is currently being developed by a group of Moi university students and is expected to be released for client testing in the first quarter of 2017.Am glad to be part of the development team.more information will be provided as we progress.
