The Kisumu National Polytechnic invites trainers and technicians from National Polytechnics, Technical Training Institutes and Technical & Vocational Colleges to a Training of Trainers (TOT) Retooling Workshop in Motor Rewinding.

๐Ÿ“… 2ndโ€“4th September 2026
โฑ๏ธ 3 Days

The training will cover:
๐Ÿ”น General classification of motors โ€” DC, single-phase and three-phase
๐Ÿ”น Review of motor starting methods
๐Ÿ”น Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) in motor starting
๐Ÿ”น Motor rewinding โ€” DC, single-phase and three-phase
๐Ÿ”น Motor testing, including continuity, insulation resistance, polarity, earth resistance, no-load and on-load tests

๐Ÿ’ฐ Training Cost: KSh 15,000 per trainer for the three days.
Institutions will be required to cater for their trainers/technicians per diem.
