Greetings from Kenya. I am writing to request your immediate help! Our water well is no longer operational leaving almost 200 kids without clean water. A week ago after a power outage there was a major power surge which destroyed the well pump. I have a company ready to install a new one for $1,500 as soon as the funds come in.
Please help these kids many of whom are getting sick with Typhoid from drinking contaminated water. In the last few days there has also been an outbreak of severe diarrhea. We are doing what we can by boiling the water but there are just too many kids. There is no alternative clean water source so we are forced to collect from a contaminated well.
