What a sad day to learn of the tragic loss of such a brilliant innovator Mr. Calvine Oruko😭😭😭
What a huge loss to senior school science fraternity and to the science, technology and innovation fields.πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”
Rest in power, mentor to my trailblazing children, rest easy Mwalimu till we meet again. How do I share with them news of loss again, so soon after naturalist Tom Mboya. Y'all were so instrumental in instilling in them the confidence to push "Bring Back Lake Victoria" campaign as they set out to tackle plastic pollution.
Fare thee well gentle giant, nind gi kwe!😭😭😭
One day even death shall be defeated!

What a glorious event, what a faithful God, what a sight to behold, what a blessed generation taking up the mantle to lead from the front?! This is how it went down this past Saturday at the Nam Lolwe Youth Summit organised by young people for young people.
The Kisumu County CECM for Education represented H.E. the Governor. We had the honor of having the Secretary Youth Affairs Raymond Ochieng' join us for the occassion.
Big up to White Oaks School partners in the journey of coaching and mentoring our youth to take the lead. These include H.E. the Governor of Kisumu County, Ocean Heroes Network, Earth Echo, Youth Ocean Conservation Summit, Green Speaking. KMFRI led by their Director General Prof. James Njiru, Dr. Christopher Aura, Dr. Chris Nyamweya deserve a special mention and honor for opening their doors to guide, mentor, coach and train young people to uncover their hidden potential. White Oaks School continues marching forward in the light of God.
