2019 was a momentous year for us since we begun this wonderful journey in 2017. We did not know what the next step had in store but throughout the journey we have seen transformation and our faith has been tested. It has not been smooth. Every rugged path has shown us how God's boundless love and provision is ever-flowing.
The transformation narrative as transcended our work and has settled in many homes including ours. This year we had the first lot of graduates who were part of the first cohort among them the first 3 children who came on day one.
We are happy to share that many friends have been part of this story through making random contributions to further this work as well as many volunteers who have given their time and expertise to enable us achieve some goals. Among them we cannot fail to mention the late Emmanuel Jadudi who donated 2 computers to us, may he RIP.
While this has achieved enormous results our key focus is to move the project towards a path of sustainability and more impact while still focusing on what we exist to do. To achieve this we still making a clarion call to those who share in the vision of Bethel School to come on board in any way possible.
A great story is that out of the 9 children that graduated this year, all have successfully secured Grade 1 admission for next year. It is worth mentioning, 3 were on G.O.K Anti-retro-viral therapy.
What we have been able to achieve this year with your gift and strategic counsel is to provide all the children enrolled in our school have never missed a warm cup of nutritious porridge in the morning, a plate of lunch and G.O.K Competency Based Curriculum 5 days a week for 37 weeks.
We have seen children and families change. The whole of Bethel School school fraternity loves you and wishes you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year!
Shalom!
