The school held a successful Orientation Programme for Nursery parents whose children will be transitioning into Reception and Year 1 in the upcoming academic year. The event, held at the KJA Banda from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, was marked by warmth, engagement, and shared commitment to our children’s growth.
The programme began with the arrival of parents at 2:00 PM, followed by a heartfelt opening prayer led by one of our dedicated teachers. Shortly after, the MC facilitated introductions, allowing parents and staff to become familiar and establish a foundation for strong collaboration.
Reception and Year 1 teachers then shared brief but informative presentations outlining:
The learning expectations and daily routines in Reception and Year 1
The Edexcel Curriculum approach, emphasizing holistic development and structured learning
The importance of parental involvement in fostering consistent academic and social growth
This was followed by a message from the Sports Department, highlighting the school’s emphasis on physical education and co-curricular engagement. The Head of Academics also addressed the parents, emphasizing the school’s commitment to nurturing confident learners and smooth transitions from one level to the next.
The event concluded with a brief Q&A session, where parents raised insightful questions and received clarification on the learning structure, assessments, and support strategies for young learners.
