Background
The group, Itierio Alumni was created through an initiative by John Nyamosi on 17th October 2018, pioneers being Monica Onyancha and Laban Nyangwono. The purpose of the group was to consolidate and share schoolmates’ fond memories, enhance unity and share ideas to empower members and the community.
Later on, on the 15th January 2019 a community based organization named ITAM (IT-itierio AM- Alumni) was registered with the ministry of East Africa Community, Labor, and Social Protection under certificate number 44976. Currently the group has 89 registered members and as of December 2020, benevolence to members amounted to kshs. 500,000.
