D-Prize is looking for entrepreneurs who can design a new nonprofit or social venture that distributes an existing poverty solution to thousands, maybe even millions of people.
This year, they aim to award 30+ teams each with up to $20,000 in seed capital to launch a pilot and test their idea for a new venture.

CALL FOR APPLICATION
The Digi-SwoRe Project, sponsored by the US Embassy Kenya, and implemented by YEPI, Baus Taka, and Washindi Africa, is a project that targets micro and small-scale women-owned businesses in Mombasa and Kilifi Counties. DIGI-Swore targets women-owned businesses that were directly negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and risked closure due to a lack of capacity to explore online markets. DIGI-SwoRE Project aims to build resilience and sustainability through the digitalization of women-owned businesses in Mombasa and Kilifi Counties leading to an increase in online presence and productivity of the businesses on social media and other digital platforms leading to the overall increase in their sales.
Are you a female entrepreneur aged 20-40 years from Mombasa and Kilifi?Do you own a micro & small scale traditional business that have been in operation at least a year before the onset of the pandemic?
Do you have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Internet & Email)?
Are you able to communicate in English. Both writing, speaking and listening?
If you answered yes to the above questions, apply to join the Digi-SwoRe Project before 8th January, 2023. The sessions will take place in Mombasa and Kilifi from February to May 2023.
