The Vipingo Village Fund has evolved. Once a school, it is now the Future Hope Education & Community Centre, a vibrant hub focused on skills and opportunity.
At its heart is our Football Academy, bringing new hope to the young people of Vipingo.

They say an army marches on its stomach, the same could be said about hungry children! You can't fuel the mind if the tank is empty, so thanks to some very kind donors we feed upward of 40 children lunch every day, with that number rising significantly during Holiday Camp and football activities.

Back to school tomorrow, and yet another Holiday Camp is over - and what a great time everyone has had, except maybe Sammy, who managed to really injure himself, he's not as young as he once was you know!!😄😄
But for the many kids who streamed through our gates over the past three weeks there was, one-to-one tuition to try and get them up to speed, thank you to our two volunteer teachers. On rainy days,
Literacy club, and Story time for the littles, wonderful food and the inevitable FOOT BALL!
Future Hope is still all that, Hope for the Future, and imperative for Vipingo Village. So please, anything you can spare:

This is little Monty Shadow, the school cat, he came from the KSPCA, and like so many of our children, was an orphan. Today, he's a creaky old man being 18, but he's had a wonderful life and has been much loved by many children.

We may no longer be a school per se, but that has not stopped children of all ages pouring through our gates - especially during Holiday Camp, which remains a vital resource for the village.
Thanks to two wonderful volunteer teachers, Mr Daniel and Mr Elisha, children are being brought up to speed and helped to prepare for the onslaught of the new term.
They will be heading back into overcrowded, under-resourced and pressurised classrooms, where too many children and too few resources make learning an uphill battle.
So please - we need both your money and your support.

Today is not a good day...Today I’m asking for help. Not for a tournament, not for volunteers… just to keep Future Hope going.
We are at a point we never thought we’d reach.
Without urgent support, we will have to close the Future Hope Hub.
That means:
No Football Academy
No daily meals
No safe place for our youth group
All of it… gone.
Tim and I are honestly, devastated. We’ve held this together for as long as we possibly can, but we can’t carry it any further on our own.
If Future Hope has ever meant something to you, or if you’ve ever believed in what we’re trying to do here… please help us keep it alive.

OK! I KNOW CHRISTMAS IS LONG GONE - BUT ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE THAT WAIT... EVENTUALLY!!
So yesterday Vipingo Village Fund were the grateful recipients from the G-**ot Christmas Appeal, which resulted in a trolley full of goodies, from essentials to some small treats for our feeding programme.
