Kivukoni is an International Secondary, Primary and Nursery school in Kilifi We are totally ecologically sensitive, off-the-grid and proud of it.
Kivukoni offers the British National Curriculum with an emphasis on its Kenyan context and the nurturing natural environment. It uses its expansive, rural setting to good ends and the children enjoy an inspiring extra curricular programme as well as the core international curriculum. Due to popular demand, we are now growing upwards as well as outwards, but without loosing the family feel of the school. Kivukoni is a place where children love to learn and teachers love to teach.

We are still reliving this amazing musical production by our Key-stage 3 students in conjunction with -‘Kesho Amahoro’- a story of HOPE and RESILIENCE told through the hopeful eyes of Rwandan refugee children, as they struggle to carve a new life together. The Performing Arts can be such an impactful way to invoke empathy, and what better time than this for trying to understand the plight of refugees and homelessness.
