Embassy, Nairobi’s Public Afairs Secton is recruitng scholars for the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program Program descripton The FLTA Program is a nine-month, fully-funded, non-degree program that provides young teachers of English an opportunity to refine their teaching skills, increase their English language profciency while teaching basic Kiswahili to American university students and extending one’s knowledge of the society and culture of the United States. Eligibility 1. Applicants must be Kenyan citzens 2. Applicants must be teachers of English or in training to become teachers of English 3. Must possess a bachelor of educaton (English/Literature) degree by June 1, 2018 4. Applicants must be fluent in English and TOEFL is be mandatory 5. Applicants should be at least 21 years old and no more than 29 years old by October 1, 2018 6. Applicants must be in good health.
