Prof Michael Kiptoo was today recalled from Holiday then contract terminated by the KMTC board, no show cause letter but malicious allegations leveled against him. The former CEO is a victim of politics and personal interest.

KMTC Cancels School Reopening, Issues a Memo

The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has cancelled reopening of the institution. The institution had earlier issued a memo to final year students to report back to school on Monday, 2nd of November.
This date however, has been cancelled by the institution. In a memo dated 30th October 2020, the institution issued an update on graduation, the physical reopening of final year students and online classes.

According to the memo, the college will hold its 88th graduation ceremony on 3rd of December 2020, an event which shall be conducted virtually. The clearance for the graduating class of 2020 is ongoing and shall be done up to November.Following consultation with the Ministry of Health, the final qualifying examination candidates will not be reporting back to the college on 2nd of November as earlier communicated in a memo dated Monday, October 12, 2020.

However, online classes for all students will continue as the institution promised to monitor the trend of Covid-19 and provide regular updates.

I therefore call upon all of us to patiently wait for an official communication and ignore any other documents and information being circulated in the social media. Thanks in advance,.
