Play has many benefits for your child.

Pretending or imaginative play is one of the cornerstones of a young child's world. Kids begin demonstrating this behaviour around the age of 2years.
You know how you may find your child role-playing i.e. pretending to be a policeman or a dad or a mum; well this means he or she is experimenting with diverse identities and is able to explore a variety of scenerios and outcomes.
Imaginative play gives your child a sense of control as he or she intereprets the dramas of everyday life and pratices the rules of social behavior.

Attending daycare is all about improving a childs social skills. They quickly learn how to make friends, share, to follow directions and become a social butterfly. As a result these children develop friendships and enjoy spending time with each other.
