Our Grade 7 learners recently had the wonderful opportunity to visit Kikuyu Hospital as part of their career exploration journey and to help prepare them for pathway selection.

The visit was designed to expose learners to the wide variety of careers that make a hospital function. During the tour, students visited the Dialysis Unit, Eye Unit, Orthopedic Unit, Maternity Ward, Accounts Office, Administration Office, Chapel, Physical Therapy Department, Occupational Therapy Department, and the Prosthetics Unit. They spoke with various professionals such as the CEO, doctors, nurses, accountants, and more. Learners gained valuable insights into both medical and non-medical careers, discovering how different professionals work together to provide quality healthcare. The experience helped bring classroom learning to life while inspiring learners to think about future pathways.

Our Debate Club recently had the exciting opportunity to participate in a debate competition, where our learners confidently showcased their public speaking, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

We are incredibly proud of their courage, preparation, and passion as they represented our school so well. Experiences like these help our students grow into confident communicators and future leaders.
