🎶 From Sub-County Stage to State Concert: Our 2025 Music Festival Journey 🎶
This year, our school’s musical journey has been nothing short of inspiring. What began in March at Singoronik School with 34 vibrant performances grew into a story of dedication, triumph, and national recognition.
At the county festivals in April, hosted at Kipchimchim Boys, our learners carried forward 30 items, their voices and rhythms echoing the talent and hard work nurtured within our school walls.
By June, Soincrest Junior School had advanced to the regional festivals in Nakuru, where 14 items were staged across Afraha, Langalanga and Nakuru Day School. For four days, our learners stood shoulder to shoulder with some of the best in the region and held their own with pride.
The defining moment came in August at the National Music Festivals in Meru. Forty-six of our learners represented the school, presenting two standout items:
• The Pre-school Singing Game, which clinched 1st place, successfully defending the trophy they had won in 2024.
• The Lower Primary Singing Game, which achieved an admirable 3rd place nationally.
But the journey did not stop there. The Pre-school Singing Game was handpicked for the prestigious 2025 Gala Presentation on 14th August, and from there, earned yet another rare honour: an invitation to perform before the President at the State Concert on 16th August, hosted at Sagana State Lodge in Nyeri. A team of 23 young stars, who had already spent a week in Meru, proudly represented the school at this historic national stage.
This remarkable achievement is more than just trophies and titles. It is a celebration of discipline, teamwork, and the boundless potential of our learners. It is also a testament to the dedication of our teachers, the support of parents, and the spirit of a school community that believes in nurturing excellence from the earliest years.
As we reflect on this year’s journey, one truth shines through: when talent meets opportunity, history is made. 🌟
