Today's morning session at the Annual Vice Chancellor's Forum was facilitated by Ms. Anita Kivulu from the Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS), who took staff members through a Sensitization on Customer Centricity and Open Door Policy. This engaging training session equipped The Co-operative University of Kenya's employees with immense knowledge on cultural alignment strategy designed to shift focus from internal processes to customer needs, while fostering transparent communication en route to realizing the 0.92 Customer Satisfaction Index by the end of the 2022-2027 Strategic Plan period.

We are honoured to participate in the Bizlink Trade Expo (BTEXPO) - Business Forum 2026 - Eldoret City Edition, from 25th to 27th June 2026. Today, our Marketing Team, led by our Marketing Officer, Ms. Lilian Nkatha, interacted with prospective students and business stakeholders, sensitizing them on the market-driven academic programs offered at The Co-operative University of Kenya.
This edition strategically serves as a market linkage and investment platform, bringing together financial and academic institutions, producers, manufacturers, buyers, exporters, and policymakers to unlock trade opportunities within the Uasin Gichu County and beyond.

During the 2026 National Productivity and Performance Conference that was graced by H.E. Hon. William Samoei Ruto, the President of the Republic of Kenya, at the Kenya School of Government (Lower Kabete), The Co-operative University of Kenya achieved a composite score of 2.2147 for the 2024/2025 Financial Year.
The results of the University in the State Corporations Performance Evaluation translated to an “Excellent” rating, down from 2.3293 in the 2023/2024 Financial Year. To emerge as the second-runner-up Public University under the functional category and the 7th overall best-performing state corporation, The Co-operative University of Kenya improved its score by 0.1146 points (about a 4.9% improvement) over last year’s result. The event forms part of the activities leading up to the annual 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬, commonly known as 𝘜𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘬𝘢 𝘋𝘢𝘺.

The Innovation Club of The Co-operative University of Kenya undertook an insightful session on blockchain technology and financial literacy, facilitated by Zcash.
Students explored the fundamentals of blockchain, digital privacy, and the growing importance of financial privacy in today's digital economy. The beginner-friendly session also introduced Zcash's privacy-focused technology and highlighted opportunities for young people in the tech space.

Today, we were honoured to host H.E. Hon. Rev. Mutuma M'Ethingia, Governor of The County Government of Meru - 012, during the ongoing ASK Meru National Show 2026 at Gitoro Show Ground. Governor Hon. Rev. Mutuma M'Ethingia highlighted the strategic partnership with The Co-operative University of Kenya, which is aimed at boosting the County's vibrant co-operative movement.
Our Marketing Team stressed the University's critical role in reviving, professionalizing, and providing co-operative education, training, and innovation that pave the way for productivity, profitability, and sustainability of the co-operative movement in The County Government of Meru - 012, Kenya, and beyond.

During Day 2 of the ASK Meru National Show 2026, The Co-operative University of Kenya continues to be a dominant premier institution of higher education exhibitor. Our team is on the ground and has interacted with high school students, exhibitors, and county stakeholders at Gitoro Show Ground, an event that has drawn over 6,000 participants from Meru, Tharaka Nithi, and Isiolo Counties.
We continue to engage show attendees on the cutting-edge academic programmes, diverse career pathways, and how The Co-operative University of Kenya develops holistic learners through knowledge, skills, and cultivates values applicable in 21st-century careers.

Day 1 of the 2026 Meru National Show!
Our Marketing Team, led by Ms. Lilian Nkatha, is representing The Co-operative University of Kenya at the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝘂 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄, which is organized by the 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘆𝗮 - 𝗔𝗦𝗞 at Gitoro Showground between 17th and 20th June 2026.
