Mackenzie Education Centre A secondary boarding school for boys in Tala, Machakos County.

For 20 years now, we have pursued and polished a boy-centred approach to learning and life; committed to shaping them into leaders, brothers and builders of tomorrow. Mackenzie Education Centre is an all-boys secondary school established in 2005, to be a first class, independent, co-educational boarding school following the 8-4-4 and newly introduced CBC Kenyan system of Education. Our mission is to develop in each of our students the aspiration to be life-long learners and prepare them to grow into informed, independent and responsible world citizens.

Working with boys means....
โœ” Know them โ€” invest time in understanding each boy.
โœ” Encourage often โ€” words can mould character.
โœ” Seek the root, not just the reaction.
โœ” Talk openly โ€” silence doesnโ€™t build men.
Wisdom from a veteran educator โ€” shaping boys into men with heart, purpose, and character.
