NOTICE TO ALL TRAINEES.

RE: APPLICATION FOR SUBSEQUENT HIGHER EDUCATION FINANCING (HEF) FUNDING

All continuing trainees are hereby informed that the Higher Education Funding (HEF) framework provides an opportunity for eligible trainees to apply for subsequent funding to support the continuation and completion of their programmes.

All eligible continuing trainees are therefore strongly advised to submit their applications for subsequent HEF funding at the earliest opportunity.

Timely application will enable trainees to access Government financial support, meet their financial obligations and continue progressing with their studies without unnecessary interruptions.

Applications can be made through the HEF portal: www.hef.go.ke or via the mobile-friendly USSD code *642 # .

Trainees are encouraged to ensure that they complete the application process correctly and within the required timelines.

Do not miss out on Government funding opportunities.

MiNaP Embracing International Standards.

The Michuki National Polytechnic (MiNaP) is taking a major step towards continuously operating at an international level through the implementation of three key ISO standards:

🔹 ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System
🔹 ISO/IEC 27001:2022 – Information Security Management System
🔹 ISO 21001:2025 – Educational Organizations Management System(EOMS)

Our Process Owners(HODs) are undergoing intensive training as Internal Auditors and Trainers of Trainers (ToTs) for the three systems, forming an Integrated Management System (IMS).

This is a significant milestone as MiNaP positions itself among the pioneering TVET institutions in Kenya to roll out and implement these three international standards.
