A disabled student in Northern Bar el-Ghazal is defying the odds and pursuing his dreams – by writing his exams using his mouth.
Twenty-two-year-old John Lual, a student at Cornerstones Vision Academy, lost the use of his arms, but is determined to sit the papers by placing his pen in his mouth.
Four years ago, John completed his Primary Leaving Examination the same way, and now he is eager to finish his secondary education and continue his journey towards higher education.
