Mentor & Mentee - MnM PAK Project The Mentor – Mentee Project (MnM) is a unique PAK mentoring project that pairs Secondary School s Specific objectives:
1.

As part of our Agenda PAK aims at supporting and strengthening existing schools to promote education in the country. This is because PAK understands the critical role that education plays in the socio-economic development of any country. In PAK, we believe that it’s better to build bridges than to build walls and education is a bridge to harmonious coexistence in this country. The Mentor – Mentee

Project (MnM) is a unique mentoring project that was launched on May 2014. It involves pairing undergraduate or graduate students from Peace Ambassadors Kenya (PAK) with Student in Senetwo Secondary School for a negotiated period of time during their academic life at the school. Mentors and mentees are paired on the basis of a common career and academic interests. Project Mission:
To promote the academic, social and career developments of mentees by providing them with a role model that will expose the student to a variety of professional and social customs which will further enhance their career development. Internal Goal:
To make Senetwo Secondary School a centre of academic excellence in the Kenya offering holistic learning and the first Non Violent Communication Speaking School. Main Objective:
The projects main objective is to provide students with an opportunity to interact with positive role models who will encourage and motivate them to excel in school and in life. To enhance the social development of each students at Senetwo Secondary School by providing them with a graduate or undergraduate role model
2. To foster Mentorship relationships that will help Senetwo Secondary School students raise their academic performance and career goals
3. To build the learning capacity of Senetwo Secondary School to a centre of academic excellence in the country

Having completed Ngubereti MnM project last year, why Baringo again?

The school challenges:

1. Inadequate staff.
2. Long walks to access the school.
3.Early pregnancies.
4. Inadequate learning materials.
5. Lack of motivation/mentorship.
6.Poor learning infrastructure
7. Poor sanitation
8. High school dropouts

Our social change journey at the Mentorship begins on *2nd to 5th April*

*Registration fee 700*
Which caters for *Food and Accommodation*

Participant caters for their own transport to and from.

From Nakuru to the school is approximately *200-250 Ksh*
