Congratulations to Rev. Fr. Felix Kalo Mukulu, our former Boarding Master, on his appointment as the first Parish Priest of the newly established St. Ambrose Malinya Parish.
The St. Peter's Minor Seminary Mukumu family wishes you God's blessings as you begin this new chapter of ministry and service.
And Fr. Felix, now that you are our man in Malinya, don't forget to be a good ambassador for Petra! 😊🙏
Congratulations, Fr. Felix!

Formation bears fruit. 🙏
At the invitation of Archbishop Maurice Muhatia, representatives of the St. Peter's Minor Seminary Mukumu Alumni Association had the opportunity to share with the seminarians, staff, and alumni of St. Gabriel's Minor Seminary, Kisumu.
The encounter was a reminder that the values, discipline, faith, and leadership nurtured in our seminaries do not end at graduation. Through service and commitment, alumni continue to give back and inspire future generations.
Indeed, formation is a lifelong journey, and in our own small ways, we can make a great difference to our alma mater and the Church.

There are moments when words fail us.
Today, the St. Peter's Minor Seminary Mukumu family joins the nation in mourning with the students, parents, teachers, and friends affected by the tragic loss at Utumishi Girls.
As a school community, we can only imagine the pain of families who sent their daughters to school with dreams and hopes for the future. We remember them in our prayers and ask the Lord to grant strength to those who mourn, healing to those who were injured, and comfort to the entire school community.
May the souls of the departed rest in the peace of Christ, and may the light of hope continue to shine even in this difficult moment.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. 🕊️🙏
