It was an honor to welcome a delegation from the Islamic University of Indonesia, also known as UIN Syahid Jakarta , which included Prof. Maila Rahiem, head of the center for international cooperation at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Evi Muliyah, coordinator of the student mobility program at the center for international cooperation, and Wisnu, counsellor at the Indonesian Embassy in Kenya.

The group was taken around IUK and key offices, and they had the opportunity to meet with top management and department leaders from both the academic and administrative divisions.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ali Sunkar has praised the relationship between UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and the Islamic University of Kenya, citing significant benefits such as plans to collaborate with UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta in a series of exchange programs that will greatly benefit IUK students, faculty, and alumni.

This is in line with IUK’s Vision and Mission, which highlight IUK as an institution of Ethics, Quality, and Research.

It is the third day of the End-of-Semester Exam.
In Sha Allah, we wish all of our students from the Schools of Business, Shariah and Arabic Studies, and Education the best of luck in their exams.

The 3rd University Council Meeting of the Islamic University of Kenya has just completed. Today, Tuesday, December 5th, 2023, at IUK's main campus in Kisaju. Dr. Mohamed Shekh Osman, the university's founder, has indicated that efforts are ongoing to upgrade the infrastructure in order to improve the welfare of both staff and students.

This occurred during the most recent meeting, which brought together key stakeholders and IUK senior management. The primary issue on the agenda was an examination of the university's progress in regard to its objectives and vision. Concerns about welfare and infrastructure development took center stage in the discussion about the university's sustainability and survival.

Providing high-quality education and simplifying the institution's aims were among the primary agenda items.
