This week, we conducted a Digital Marketing Skills Training for women engaged in small-scale and grassroot enterprises from various informal sectors across Baringo County. The training aimed to equip them with practical tools to market their products and services online, increase visibility, and grow their businesses in today’s digital world.
Baringo County Chief Officer for Public Service, Administration, ICT & E-Government Mr. Charles Kipkulei took time to interact with the participants, listening to their challenges and aspirations, and assured them of continued support from the County Government of Baringo in an effort to strengthen women’s economic empowerment.
This impactful initiative was carried out in partnership with the Ajira Digital Program, reaffirming our commitment to bridge the digital divide and open new opportunities for our women entrepreneurs.
We celebrate the resilience of these women and look forward to seeing their businesses thrive online!

In an effort to bridge the digital divide, we continue to empower our people through ICT training. We believe that access to ICT knowledge is key to unlocking opportunities, and we remain committed to equipping the youth, women, and the wider community with essential digital skills that nurture creativity, innovation, and self-reliance. Our programs are designed to build confidence and prepare participants to thrive in the digital economy. Today, we proudly celebrate the successful completion of training for our July 2025 cohort. This milestone marks another step forward in creating a digitally inclusive society where no one is left behind.
