Extension and Technology Transfer

Extension and Technology Transfer the directorate ensures development of agriculture and technology and provides extension services so as to contribute to social and economical development.

Extension is one of the departments in the research production and extension(RPE) division of JKUAT. One of the functions of the university is to play an effective role in the development of agriculture and technology and to provide extension services so as to contribute to social and economic development of Kenya and for this reason, the department exists to pursue the realization of this function.
