CAN ANY MED STUDENT CONFIRM THIS.(Explicit Language Used)
I am from JKUAT Department of Clinical Medicine. Am now in my fourth year of studies after a lot of struggle. This is the only medical institution where a lecturer will f**k a girl to give her exams. A good example is Dr Mavisi who gave pharmacology exams to some few girls after eating them left, right and center. Besides that, in this school we are taught by people who are not qualified, for example Asena, Victoria and Simba. These people have diploma in clinical medicine and they are teaching major units like Anatomy and Physiology.
And then there is this issue of corruption in the school. I wish the Ethics and Anti corruption Commission would investigate how the institution is spending Ksh. 302,000 collected as fees from third years. Can you imagine there is semester we went for attachment and we were taught nothing but they charged us 102,000? Up to now I don’t understand how they spent this money.
Coming to facilities, this department has no single office and they are only playing with taxpayers money by employing some incompetent lecturers who are there to siphon public funds. I have an audio of one Mr Asena begging for s*x from a young girl so that he will include her in the pass-list. She gave in and there she goes ako kwa list.
And then there is that issue of failing students deliberately. Can you imagine after sitting for 3 trimester exams you are allowed to do one supplementary ukipata mbili unarudia while in other institutions including UoN hata k**a uko na sup kumi you can still do it? They admit 200 students a year so that they will get a lot of money but at the end wanajua clinical officers council wanataka watu 50. Why can’t they just admit 60 so that ten will fail? It’s because they are thieves.
But all this mess the dean school of medicine is not aware. He is a nice guy but he is overpowered. He is the one who allowed those guys who are doing mbChb to do a maximum of 3 supps unlike us.
Alafu, I have a feeling that Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board to step in to prevent this guys from offering BSC Clinical Medicine (ophthalmic and cataract surgery). This course is not recognized but ni njia kulaghai wazazi.
You will hear of funny courses like oncology and palliative care which also not recognized. Hapo kuna wizi inaendelea. Unsuspecting parents and students are being robbed!
