Have you managed to do any little experiments this holiday?

We can’t wait to hear all about the exciting things our children have been creating, exploring and discovering during the break! From simple science experiments to creative projects, there’s always something new to learn when curiosity takes the lead.

We’re looking forward to hearing the stories, seeing the creations and, of course, celebrating all those little “Aha!” moments when we return.

Who knows? We might have a few young scientists, inventors and creative geniuses among us! 😄

The school feels a little too quiet without our learners, and we honestly can't wait to have them back with us!

Closing Day Memories!

What a way to wrap up the term! Our Closing Day was filled with good moments, big smiles, laughter and plenty of fun, and of course, everyone understood the assignment! 😄

With Denim on Black as our theme, our learners and staff showed up looking absolutely fantastic. From the outfits to the energy, everyone was fully committed to the theme! 🖤💙

It was the perfect way to celebrate the end of a wonderful term and create memories that will stay with us.

We believe holidays are a great opportunity for children to learn through fun, hands-on experiences.

Try some of these enriching activities at home:

Throwback Thursday!

This Thursday, we're taking a trip down memory lane to one of our practical life lessons, learning how to wash our handkerchiefs! 😊

What may seem like a simple task is actually a valuable life skill. Our learners discovered the importance of personal hygiene, responsibility, patience, and taking pride in caring for their own belongings. From soaking and scrubbing to rinsing and hanging them out to dry, every step was a lesson in independence.

Our sing-along sessions are always a wonderful way for our learners to unwind, have fun, and simply enjoy being children. Through music, they build confidence, improve their communication skills, strengthen their memory, and create lasting friendships, all while wearing the biggest smiles.

Last week, our talented chess players flew the Hillbrook flag high as they competed with skill, strategy, and determination.

We're thrilled to announce that they qualified from the Regional Championships to the Provincial level and now representing Hillbrook School at the National Championship at Alliance High School.

Congratulations to our incredible learners and their dedicated coaches for this remarkable achievement. Go Hillbrook! 💙♟️
