PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE TO TARGET OWNERS ON PERFORMANCE CONTRACT TARGETS FOR FY 2025/2026
Dear Target Owners,
As we embark on the implementation of the Performance Contract for the 2025/2026 Financial Year, I wish to appreciate your continued commitment, dedication, and professionalism in advancing the mandate of Gatundu South Technical and Vocational College.
Performance Contracting remains a key management tool in enhancing accountability, efficiency, service delivery, and achievement of institutional goals within the TVET sector. The Government of Kenya continues to emphasize quality, innovation, transparency, and measurable results in public institutions through performance management systems.
This financial year presents us with an opportunity to strengthen our institutional performance through effective implementation of agreed targets aligned to our Strategic Plan, the Ministry of Education priorities, CBET reforms, and the national development agenda. The TVET sector continues to focus on skills development, modular training, digital transformation, quality assurance, and increased trainee enrollment to enhance employability and national development.
I therefore call upon all target owners to:
• Take full responsibility for the targets assigned to your departments and committees.• Ensure timely implementation, monitoring, documentation, and reporting of all activities.• Maintain proper records and evidence for every target achieved.• Promote teamwork, integrity, innovation, and accountability in service delivery.• Adhere strictly to timelines and government performance contracting guidelines.• Embrace continuous improvement and effective utilization of institutional resources.
Let us remain focused on excellence as we work together towards achieving and surpassing our performance targets. Through collective effort, commitment, and teamwork, Gatundu South TVC will continue to grow as a center of excellence in Technical and Vocational Education and Training.
I urge every target owner to demonstrate diligence, creativity, and professionalism throughout the implementation period. Together, we shall deliver quality training, improved service delivery, and sustainable institutional growth.
