✨ Introducing the St. Bakhita Tailoring Workshop! ✨
We are excited to announce our new tailoring project supported by Hollen Foundation , Slovakia, empowering women and girls through hands-on vocational skills.

As the workshop grows, we aim to secure tenders for school uniforms and production contracts from factories. If you are a school or company looking for a reliable supplier with excellent quality, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We would be honoured to work with you.

🎉 A Remarkable Day at St. Bakhita House of Hope! 🎉
Today marks a big milestone for our centre — for the very first time ever, our trainees are sitting for their official NITA (National Industrial Training Authority) exams right here at St. Bakhita Vocational Training Centre! 🇰🇪✨

This achievement means so much to us. It reflects the growth, quality and progress of our programmes, and the incredible dedication of our students and teachers.

Our young women have worked tirelessly — practising, learning, improving — and today they step forward as confident, skilled candidates ready for real opportunities. 💛
Being able to host NITA exams onsite shows that St. Bakhita is moving to a new level of excellence, and we could not be more proud.

✨ At St. Bakhita we had the honor of welcoming two amazing guests – Mili (Slovakia) and Klára (Czech Republic). Wonderful young women with big hearts ❤️ During their 3-week journey through Kenya, they spent 4 inspiring days with us in Eldoret, full of experiences, conversations, and motivation.

Our girls said: the best visit of the year! 🙌 And we couldn’t agree more. Thank you for the beautiful moments and we wish you safe travels 🌍✈️

🔥🚒 Fire Safety First at St. Bakhita! 🚒🔥

Today our students and staff took part in a hands-on Fire Extinguisher Training at St. Bakhita House of Hope. 💪✨

With guidance from professionals, we learned:
✅ How to identify different types of fire extinguishers
✅ The right way to operate them safely
✅ What steps to take in case of an emergency

Practical training like this is not only life-saving knowledge but also a way to build confidence and responsibility in our community. 🌍❤️

🌟 Success Story from St. Bakhita House of Hope! 🌟

We are incredibly proud of Nancy, one of our recent graduates from the dressmaking class, who perfectly embodies the saying: "Where there’s a will, there’s a way."

After completing her course at Bakhita, Nancy didn’t wait around for opportunities — she created her own! 🎉 She bravely launched her own dressmaking shop and is now designing beautiful kitenge outfits made with passion and purpose.

Today, we had the joy of picking up a special order of kitenge skirts made by Nancy for the amazing teachers at a primary school in Beckov, Slovakia. We’re sure they’ll love these skirts just as much as Nancy loves creating them!
