We had an insightful and eye-opening discussion on “Relationships and Social Life.” 💬

Together, we explored:
❤️ The different types of relationships — from family and friendships to spiritual and romantic ones.
⚖️ How to balance relationships and academics — learning to set healthy boundaries and manage our time wisely.
💪 The challenges of maintaining healthy relationships — and how communication, forgiveness, and faith can help us overcome them.

It was a beautiful reminder that every relationship in our lives should help us grow closer to God, build character, and reflect genuine love. 🙏

We began our week at the feet of Jesus during our Monday Chapel Session, where our beloved Director, Samuel Nganga, shared a deep and encouraging message on:

👉 "Trusting in God"

📖 Scripture References:

Psalms 55:22 – "Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you..."

1 Peter 5:6–7 – "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."

Psalms 125:1–2 – "Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever."

Psalms 20:1–7 – A heartfelt prayer from our Director to us.

God is always thinking about us — every detail of our lives matters to Him.

We’re reminded to lay down our worries and burdens at His feet — He is watching over everything that concerns us.

When we put our trust in the Lord, we become unshakable, just like Mount Zion.

This was a timely message as we begin the week — a call to trust deeper, surrender fully, and stand firm in the Lord.

✨ CHAPEL HIGHLIGHTS – THURSDAY ENCOUNTER ✨

Today, we gathered in the presence of God to renew our faith in Christ as we approach the end of the week — and what a powerful session it was! 🙌

We were greatly blessed by Pastor Maxwell Nyae, who shared a stirring word from Hebrews 12:2 and Matthew 14:22–33 under the theme:

👉 "Fixing Our Eyes on Jesus"

🔹 Just like Peter walked on water by focusing on Jesus, we were reminded that when we fix our eyes on Him, we too can do the impossible.
🔹 Distractions, like the winds and waves Peter faced, will always come — but when we keep our focus on Christ, we find peace, stability, and strength.
🔹 Jesus is the Pioneer and Perfector of our faith, the One who sees us through every storm.

One of the most touching moments was Pastor Maxwell’s personal testimony — 15 years ago, he was diagnosed with a severe liver condition and given only 7 days to live. But instead of focusing on the report, he focused on the Word. Anchoring his faith in the promise, “by His stripes, we are healed,” he believed, prayed, and received complete healing. 💪🙏

Today, 15 years later, he is alive, well, and still focused on Jesus — a living testimony of God's power!

📖 Let this be a reminder:

When we focus on Jesus, we find peace that surpasses all understanding and strength to walk through every challenge.

Today’s session was a powerful reminder that words carry weight — they can build or break, unite or divide. As believers and leaders in society, we’re called to speak boldly, but also with wisdom, love, and grace.

We explored:
✅ The right to express ourselves freely
✅ The dangers of hate speech in our digital world
✅ How to stand for truth without causing harm
✅ What the Bible teaches about responsible speech
✅ How we can reflect Christ even in heated discussions
