This program: -
a) Is Bible based – Students learn wisdom based on the word of God. b) Is self-instructional – Lessons are placed in the Pace (Pace is a bite-sized booklet of curriculum which is both the text and workbook) with examples and illustrations given. c) Builds character – Students learn 60 traits of Jesus that are in their paces at all levels. There is no pressure to keep up with the group as students progress at their own speed. Supervisors also attend to them as individuals. e) Is mastery-based – Mastering content is mandatory before the student moves to the next page or pace. f) Develops critical thinking skills – Students are encouraged to think creatively and independently and all phases of critical thinking are covered, knowledge comprehension, analysis, synthesis and evaluation. g) Encourages socialization- through swimming, sports etc. The educational concept is built on 5 basic laws: -
1) Students must be at subject levels where they can perform.
2) Students must set reasonable goals.
3) Learning must be controlled and motivated.
4) Learning must be measurable.
5) Learning must be rewarded. Core subject: -
Primary: Mathematics, English, Social Studies, Science, Literature and Creative Writing, Word Building, Bible Reading, Music, Creative art and IT. Secondary: Mathematics, English, Social Studies (covering World History and Geography),
Science (covering Biology, Chemistry and Physics), Biblical Studies (covering
New and Old Testament survey and successful Living), Music, Creative art and
IT. Secondary is also divided into three levels: General, Intermediate and Advanced levels. Our school terms are divided into three terms; January to March, May to July and September to November every year. Intake is ongoing from Kindergarten to High School.
