2. SICILY KANINI KARIUKI

Sicily was born in Kangaru, Embu county. She is the second last in a family of seven.

Education.
-Kangaru primary School
-Thika primary School
-Maryhill Girls high school -O level
-Kangaru Girls School - A level
-University of Nairobi - bachelor of science in commerce
-eastern and southern African management institute- masters in Business Administration
- Michigan state University- post graduate in law and regulations

Work experience
Sicily started her careerlife in 1990. Below is her progress to date.

-Investment Promotion Center (KENIVEST) - officer for 5 years

- project manager for a horticultural project with USaid for 2 years

- CEO fresh produce export association of Kenya -8 years

-CEO tea board of Kenya- 8 years

- Dec 2015-jan 2018 =cabinet secretary youth and gender affairs

- Jan 2018- Jan 2020 cabinet secretary health
- Jan 2020 - Feb 2022 cabinet secretary water, sanitation and irrigation.

Family.
Sicily is married to Mr zabby KARIUKI of Muchemi village in Olkalou, Nyandarua county.
The are blessed with 4 children. However,they lost their daughter Muthoni in July 19 2020, who was burried in Olkalou.
Sicily is a grandmother to 2 boys.

Nyandarua gubernatorial candidates.
Note: this is in no particular order.

Candidate 1.
Faith Wairimu Gitau.

Currently, Wairimu represents Nyandarua in the national assembly as the women representative.

Academic history.
According to the parliament portal, Faith Gitau attained her higher diploma in business administration from Kenya Institute of Management in 2004. She attended Washington University where she graduated class of 2006 with a bachelor of arts in social sciences. (There lacks more information on her academic background online, however, we shall update this post soon as we have more credible info)

Family.
Wairimu tends to keep her private life out of the public eye. However, she is a mother and has dedicated and devoted herself to her children who are grown now. She has ensured that they are very well educated and are on their feet.

Manifesto for the gobernatorial post.
Faith is yet to release her manifesto and we shall upload it here soon as she does.

We shall be having an insight on the candidates aspiring to lead Nyandarua county as of 2022 august.
We shall be starting with the gobernatorial position, senator, women rep mps and last but not least MCA.
